Anthony "Vincenzo" Agostino

In loving memory of Vincent Anthony Agostino "Vincenzo", 85, departed from this life on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah; sister Marie; daughter Raenia; sons Vincent and Domenick (Krystel); and grandson Rocco. Vincent was preceded in death by his father Domenick, mother Rosa, brother Frank "Chic", and son Michael.

Vincent was born on May 5, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in North Plainfield, New Jersey with Italian as his first language. He lived in New York, New Jersey, California and Arizona. After graduating from North Plainfield High School in 1958, he moved to Los Angeles and apprenticed at an auto repair shop. After a few years he returned to New Jersey, and took a position at HOB Chevrolet, a high volume Chevy dealership, as Main Master Mechanic and later Body Shop Manager. He was considered "an expert auto mechanic". In 1973, Vince followed his family to Arizona and launched "Agostino's Auto Mobile Service" performing mobile auto repairs. Then in 1979, "Agostino's Vinyl Top Service" was established in Mesa, Arizona, shifting from mechanic work to installing vinyl tops, convertible tops, and restyling vehicles. He became the best in the trade and opened a used car dealership "Motorcars" with a partner/friend in 2008 also in Mesa, Arizona.

He and his wife shared enduring love and commitment for 48 wonderful years, while raising their 4 children. Vince was known to be compassionate to people in need, very honest with strong integrity and solid principles. Vincenzo's greatest passions were his faith, family, friends, music, and cars. Before Vincent passed, he said "I feel very blessed and accomplished in my life, starting from nothing and becoming an entrepreneur. I am proud of doing the best I could for my family and friends. I can rest easy being very proud of myself."

Vince ended an epic battle with cancer and fought until his last breath. May Vincent's spirit live on forever. The Agostino family invites you to join Vince's "Celebration of Life" at 1:00 pm on August 16, 2025 at St. Patrick's Catholic Community (10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale, AZ 85260).
