David Wade Blackmore

David Wade Blackmore was born on August 3, 1965, at Good Samaritan in Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his father, John Blackmore, and his mother, Donna Blackmore. He also leaves behind his younger brother, James Blackmore. David was a devoted father to his two daughters, Courtney Blackmore and Kendra Muncy, and a beaming grandfather to Maya Muncy and Salem Muncy, along with many other family members and friends.

David passed peacefully in his sleep on June 13, 2026. He was a man known for his passionate heart, his care for others, his love for his family, and his wonderful sense of humor.

He perfected two lifelong skills: making jokes at exactly the wrong moment and making everyone laugh anyway. Music wasn't just something David listened to—it was part of who he was. He loved the good old classics. It was his way of saying, "Sit down, relax, and enjoy life for a minute." He didn't live a quiet life; he lived a colorful one. He made mistakes, made memories, made people laugh, and made sure the people he loved knew it.

David continued to follow in his father's footsteps by working in sheet metal. He was a proud member of Local 359. David built more than structures—he built friendships, memories, and a legacy of hard work. His union brothers and sisters knew him as a man who could fix anything, make you laugh while doing it, and still finish the job right.

David leaves behind stories that will be told for years, laughter that still echoes, and love that never ends. Today, we don't say goodbye. We simply say, "Until I see you again."

David leaves behind a legacy rooted in love, faith, and the relationships he built throughout his life—one that will continue through his family for generations to come.
