Harrison Lee

Harrison, 87, passed away November 5, in Gilbert, Az.  Harrison was born November 20, 1934 in Shiner, Texas.  He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ann, sons:  Damian Charles in Shelton, WA.; Harrison J. in Mesa, Az; Edward Joel in San Francisco; sister:  Ruby Faye Pleasant (Ken) in Brier, WA. and brother Edward Crockett in Seattle, WA and many wonderful friends, neighbors and family members.  Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel L. and Estella Scott Lee, brothers:  Charles Henry, James Robert, Daniel L. Jr. (Bob); sisters: Ben Esther Rivers, Wilma Jean Brooks, Lucrecia Burkes and Pauline Ann Brown, his daughter Sieglinde Delores and his son Derek Robinson.  He has several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who adored their grandfather and uncle!  

Harrison was employed by Motorola Government Electronics Division as a Material Specialist in Scottsdale, AZ until he retired.  Harrison was a member of the Dayspring United Methodist Church in Tempe, Az. and sang in their Chorale for 35+ years.  He loved traveling and was able to travel with the Chorale to Italy, he sang in the Vatican, participated in the Salzburg Music Festival and sang in many other cathedrals in Europe.  The Chorale performed the Messiah and various other musical selections at the church.  Harrison said of all the things he missed the most during the pandemic was singing.  Harrison loved to cook and enjoyed the Dayspring Dinner and Songs events at which he prepared meals and baked many sweet potato and pecan pies!

A celebration of Life ceremony will be held on January 21, 2023-1:30 p.m. at Dayspring United Methodist Church in Tempe, Az.
