Judith (Judy) Kay DeMott went to rest in Heaven April 4, 2024. Judy was Born on July 5, 1939, in Belding, MI, to Clayton Omer DeMott and Helen Louise Farmer. Judy grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where she graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1957. Judy moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1969 and began her career as a system analyst in the micrographics division of 3M in the Western Region. Her next position involved organizing and implementing COM service applications for the Arizona Bank. Following her in-house COM experience, she joined Valley Datacorp in a sales position, eventually becoming a branch manager. DataLink Corp. was formed by Judy and two other partners in 1984, where she served as co-owner and president until her retirement and the sale of the company in 1997. Over the years she enjoyed singing and playing the ukulele, bowling, golf, watching many types of sports in person and on tv, card games, crossword puzzles, get aways to her cabin in Prescott, spending time with her family, and loving on her pet poodles. She often visited Indiana for Memorial Day weekend so she could be “home” for the Indy 500 race festivities. In retirement Judy traveled the world with her business and life partner of 52 years, Geri Davidson. Judy will always be remembered for her smile, friendliness, sense of humor, and generosity. Judy is survived by her niece Rebecca Longenberger (Tom), niece Jamie Richard (Danny), great niece Karry Hook (Kent) and their two children, great nephew Andy Kizer (Karla) his two children and one grandchild, and great nephew Jeremy Richard (Rachel) and his two children. Judy was preceded in death by Geraldine (Geri) Ellis Davidson, a sister Beverly Crowder, and a niece Debbie Miller. A private celebration to honor Judy will be held this summer in Indiana.
