Daughter to Dorothy and Roy Baldwin, she was a beloved sister to Richard Baldwin, a devoted mother to James Volz, a cherished grandmother to Ethan Volz, and the loving significant other of Richard Van Epps.


Linda's journey began at Handy High School in Bay City, from where she graduated with honors before continuing her education at Western Michigan University. Her career was marked by a dynamic path, beginning in Human Resources and Training at Wicks Lumber. She later transitioned into hospitality management with Holiday Inn, where she excelled in providing exceptional guest experiences. Her compassionate nature and leadership skills led her to manage assisted living facilities before she made a bold career change into the world of accounting.


Throughout her life, Linda was frequently on the move, always in pursuit of better opportunities and new experiences. She lived in various cities, including Bay City, MI; Fort Wayne, IN; Memphis, TN; Manitowoc, WI; San Diego and the Bay Area in CA; Henderson, NV; and Phoenix, AZ. Her adventurous spirit and drive for personal growth touched the lives of many in each place she called home.


Linda will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her professional achievements, and her relentless pursuit of new horizons. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.


Her ashes will be buried at sea in San Diego, a place she held dear to her heart, in a private service.
