In Loving Memory of Linda Katherine Lucero NOVEMBER 5, 1956 - AUGUST 11, 2026  

Linda Katherine Lucero, 69, passed away on August 11, 2026.

Linda was born on November 5, 1956, to Ross and Berlinda Lucero. She came from a large family with deep roots in the Durango, Colorado, area and was one of 11 children.

Linda spent many years of her life in the Phoenix, Arizona, area, a place she called home for much of her life. It was there that she raised her daughter, April, and built many of the memories and experiences that made up her life.

Linda was the mother of three children, Angelo, April, and Misty. Each carries their own memories of their mother and their own part of her story. She is also the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren.

Coming from a large family, Linda shared her early life with many brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Shirley and brother Mario. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Berlinda, and her siblings Frank, Ross, Viola, Dolores, Irene, Leonard, Betty, and Albert.

Linda lived 69 years filled with experiences that cannot be completely captured in a few paragraphs. She was a daughter, sister, mother, and a member of a large family whose history stretches across generations in the Durango area.

Different people knew Linda at different times and in different ways. Each will have their own memories - some from childhood, some from family gatherings, and others from the many years she spent living in Arizona.

Her passing marks the end of one chapter, but the memories of her life remain with those who knew her. Her story continues through her children, Angelo, April, and Misty; her surviving brother and sister; and the extended Lucero family. 

Rosary & Catholic Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 28 2026 at 9:30 am at the Sacred Heart Parish-Durango, Colorado.  Family and Friends are invited to remember Linda and celebrate her life.
