Paula Guzman Munoz

We honor the life of Paula, a woman who lived with love, with faith, and with a heart that touched so many. Although we are heavy with grief, it is also a day of gratitude — gratitude to God for blessing us with her presence, her laughter, and her love.

Paula was a woman who cherished her family deeply. Her children, her grandchildren, and all those she held close were the joy of her life. She poured herself into her home, her relationships, and the bonds that tie us together. She reminded us through her actions that family is not only a blessing, but also a calling — to love one another unconditionally and to stand together in every season of life.

Her love extended beyond family as well. Paula was a true friend to many. She carried a gentle spirit, a kind word, and a warm presence that could brighten any room. Her friends knew her as someone dependable, encouraging, and always ready to listen. She valued relationships and invested in them with her whole heart.  But above all, Paula was a woman of faith. Her trust in God was not just spoken — it was lived. She carried her faith into her home, and into the way she treated others.

She knew that life is not always easy, yet she stood firm on the promises of God. Her faith was her strength, her anchor, and her guide.  As we remember Paula's life, we also take comfort in the hope she held so dear. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:2–3 that Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also."  Paula's faith assures us that this is not the end. Though she is no longer with us in body, she is alive in spirit and rests in the presence of the Lord she loved and served.

To the family, I say this: grief is real, but so is hope. The love Paula gave you, the lessons she taught you, and the faith she lived before you — these are treasures that will never fade. Carry them with you. Let them shape the way you live, so that her legacy continues through each of you.

We honor a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, and a woman of faith. May we be inspired to love more fully, to trust God more deeply, and to live with the same grace Paula showed throughout her life.  May God bless you and bring you comfort and peace.
