With heavy hearts; we announce the passing of Shelley (Riggs) Tyma, who left this world peacefully on August 22, 2024, in Mesa, AZ. Born on November 29, 1957, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Shelley brought light and love to everyone who knew her. She was adopted and cherished by her loving parents, David and Betty Riggs, who preceded her in death.
Shelley's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to helping others and her boundless generosity. A devoted Christian, she was known for always lending a hand and donating what she could to charity. She touched many lives with her selfless acts and genuine kindness.
A loving and dedicated mother, Shelley is survived by her son, Josh; her daughter, Corinne; her daughter in law, Jody; her sister, Mindy; her brother, Jeff; and her beloved grandchildren, Parker, Bailee and Ryker. Shelley's family was her greatest joy, and she spent countless cherished moments with them, creating memories that will forever be held close to their hearts.
Shelley had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel cared for and valued. Her friends and family often described her as a caring and loving mom and friend who would do anything to ensure that those around her were taken care of. Shelley's strength and independence were a source of inspiration to many, and her Successful career managing a dental office showcased her dedication and Professional acumen.
A proud graduate of Saguaro High School, Shelley carried her love of learning and growth into every aspect of her life. She had a passion for being around people, Watching cooking, fixer upper and true crime shows, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Her presence brought warmth and comfort, and her home was always a place of love and laughter.
In honor of Shelley's memory, let us embody the same kindness and compassion that She showed us every day. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and generosity That will continue to inspire us all.
As we mourn the loss of this incredible women, we take solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace, reunited with her parents, David and Betty, in heaven. Shelley's life was a testament to the power of love and selflessness, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.
